I specialize in working with patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and insomnia. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with individuals living with chronic illness, including chronic pain. My expertise extends to addressing immigration and bicultural issues, particularly among individuals from Latin America. I am also deeply committed to working with LGBTQ+ populations, focusing on the unique needs of gay and bisexual men and providing gender-affirming support for transgender individuals.

Throughout my career, I have developed a unique skill set that includes advanced training in primary care behavioral health. I have collaborated closely with primary care providers to deliver integrated behavioral health services to patients of all ages. My work has also involved specializing in HIV-prevention and gender-affirming care, which has further enhanced my ability to support my patients comprehensively.

My journey into social work began with my clinical training in community mental health at St. Mark's Institute for Mental Health in New York City's East Village. There, I worked with a general adult population as well as court-mandated patients. This experience laid the foundation for my advanced training in Chicago, where I honed my skills in primary care behavioral health and specialized in HIV-prevention and gender-affirming care. These experiences have shaped my commitment to providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care to all my patients.
