With more than 20 years of experience in endocrinology, I believe that an informed patient is an empowered patient. I specialize in managing patients with a range of endocrine disorders, including type 1 and type 2 diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and osteoporosis. My practice is comprehensive, addressing the interconnected nature of endocrine issues with other medical conditions. I work closely with a nurse, nurse practitioner, diabetes educator, and nutritionist to provide holistic and coordinated care.

Throughout my career, I have focused on integrating the latest technology and medical advances into my practice. This includes the use of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors, which are essential tools for managing diabetes effectively. My commitment to staying current with emerging treatments and technologies ensures that my patients receive the highest standard of care.

My journey into medicine began in high school, where I developed a passion for the sciences due to their intellectual challenges and stimulation. I chose to specialize in endocrinology because I saw the potential to significantly improve patients’ quality of life. I completed my medical education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, followed by a residency in internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where I also served as chief resident. I then pursued a clinical fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and bone diseases at Mount Sinai School of Medicine/Mount Sinai Hospital.
